I'm sure that a lot of people have heard Pauly's new ringtone in the latter half of series 2. I can now tell you how to get it! Follow the instructions below. All care has been taken but no responsibility taken. If you have any further information, email me (erk@erk.au.com)
If you are lucky enough to have a Nokia 3310 or a 6210, you have the tone preset. I am not sure about other Nokia models except for the 3210 which does not have it. If you have the 6210 or the 3310, find your tones selection. On the 6210, the tone is known as Groovy Blue. On the 3310, it is called tone 28.
I have searched some internet sites that have tones that can be sent to you and I have not found it. However, if you have a Nokia with the Composer feature (for instance a 3210), you can use the composer to make the sounds. You will need to use the following keys to get the notes:
1 = c
2 = d
3 = e
4 = f
5 = g
6 = a
7 = b
8 = shorter note/pause
9 = longer note/pause
* = octave up (1,2,3,1,2....)
0 = pause (shown as 8-)
# = halftone up (and back)
So to construct note 16g2, you would press the number 5 while in Composer then number 8 or 9 until you reach 16.
If you need the halftone (#), construct the note then press #. So to construct 16a#2, press the number 6 for a then use the 8/9 buttons to adjust the speed of the note then press #.
If you need the pause which is shown as 8- press the number 0 then adjust the number next to the dash using the 8 and 9 numbers until you get the required number. So to construct 16- press the number 0 then use the 8/9 buttons until you get 16-.
Now you know how to press the buttons (MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN COMPOSER!), you will need the code to make the tune. The code is:
