Welcome to the Real Fat Pizza Virtual Tour for Series 1. A tour for Series 2 can be found here. This short tour is based on the real life locations in Pizza (Series 1) and continues here. I hope to add locations to this tour soon for Series 2. So strap yourself in, our first location is the Fat Pizza Shop. This page may take some time to load.
Location 1 - Real Fat Pizza Shop Location - Pacific Highway, Artarmon Location is featured in all episodes
You can meet what I would call the inspiration for the character of Bobo at the shop where Pizza was filmed. Because this bloke was as crusty as a 2 day old pizza and even grumpier and ruder to me than Bobo ever would be when I visited, I won't be giving his shop free advertising and tell you that his pizza is the best thing since sliced bread (some people in the aus.tv newsgroup think that his pizza is alright - I don't eat pizza anyway!). Instead, I'll be advising you to proceed with caution if you even look in the direction of his shop while it is open.
The first photo was taken in November 2000 and the second and third photos were taken in October 2001.
Location 2 - "Kamhal's Service Station" Location - Pacific Highway, Artarmon (500 metres south of the Fat Pizza shop) Location featured in Episode 3
During episode 3, Pauly and Sleek visited this service station as it made good kebabs. It was stated that the location was in Campsie but it actually is in Artarmon. In the episode, the service station blew up as people were using their mobile phones. There is a service station opposite the shop that also features in the background but this isn't it.
Locations 3 & 4 - Sydney Harbour Bridge & Opera House Harbour Bridge Location - Bridge that links North Shore and Sydney City Opera House Location - Bennelong Point, Circular Quay East Locations featured/mentioned in episode 3 In episode 3, the character Deniro is seen crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. He also mentions the Opera House.
